Spring 2022 trends
This spring, get ready to step out and dress to impress with a selection of the newest, escape-worthy items in fashion, beauty and home. Here are some of our favorite trends:
Prepare your way
Spring brings nostalgia to life through iconic 90s prep pieces. Blazers, rugby stripes and collars take center stage in a range of energetic colors for women and men. Structured garments with a soft outer layer come in the form of pullover vests, varsity jackets, and cardigans. Trendy sneakers, loafers and boat shoes, charms and chains, and small shoulder bags accessorize the trend. Beauty is showcased through a clean face, defined, full brows, and a strong, rich red lip.
Femininity and a pastel palette are essential in spring. The juxtaposition of traditionally darker pieces, such as suits and denim, is renewed with pastel tones and patterns. Soft, voluminous cloud-shaped shoes and bags are must-have accessories, while Bridgerton-inspired fashions like nap dresses, tweed, embellishments and brocade make a statement that’s sure to appeal. attention. And speaking of the eye, artistic, pastel lids with soapy brows and fluffy lashes replace dark palettes. Pastel French tips and nail art are the season’s most eye-catching way to finish off an outfit.
The new neutral
This menswear trend emphasizes soft neutrals and taupe and tan undertones. Neutral tailoring brings a cool vibe to any suit, while relaxed khaki pants with a geometric print shirt in similar tones gives off an easy, carefree vibe just in time for spring. Suede shoes bring softer material and tones to complete the look.
Yellow is the color of the season. Inspired by the Amalfi Coast and the lemons of Sorrento, fresh, bright tones of yellow are seen everywhere, from home to clothing to beauty. The lemon and citrus print is featured heavily in bedding, towels, pillows, serving platters and more. The juxtaposition of Mediterranean blues and bright sandy whites completes a color palette in any home for spring. Rattan and wicker accents, figurative dishes and unstained wood bring the theme to life through design and entertainment. Beauty finds pleasure in color, with yellow graphic eyeliner and smiley face nail art.
